Moorhead Clean Up Days May 6-10 and May 13-17 and May 21 in Oakport
Your Cleanup Day will be the OPPOSITE week from your recycling with the exception of Oakport.
Apartments are not eligible for curbside pickup.
Tires will NOT be collected at the curb. Homeowners will need to dispose of them at retail tire stores or the Clay County Resource Recovery Center for a fee.
Demolition and Construction material will NOT be collected at the curb.
TVs, Computers, Computer Monitors, Computer Peripherals, Cell Phones, and Rechargeable Batteries will NOT be collected at the curb.
Sort appliances, furniture, household garbage, metal, etc. into piles; different trucks collect specific items.
Use disposable containers such as cardboard boxes (no loose garbage please).
Do not set items out more than one day earlier than your Cleanup Day.
During Cleanup Days, crews will not return to pick up garbage set out after your garbage day.
Two appliances per household will be picked up free of charge. Remove refrigerator and freezer doors for children’s safety.
Do not place food or waste inside appliances.
No commercial waste will be accepted.
Keep your garbage tote at least 4 feet away from Cleanup Days items.
April 29 through May 18 The City of Moorhead will pay for the following materials to be dropped off at the Clay County Resource Recovery Center by Moorhead Residents with identification:
Furniture
Household goods
Regular garbage
2 appliances per residence
Residents will need to pay fees to dispose of other materials.
The Clay County Resource Recovery Center, 3322 15th Ave N, Moorhead, will be open regular hours during City of Moorhead’s Cleanup Days.
Monday through Friday 8am- 4pm
The 1st and 3rd Saturday 8am- 11:30am
Special Clean Up Days Saturday
The Clay County Resource Recovery Center will also be open Saturday, May 11th from 8am to 11:30am for Clean Up Days.
Items accepted at the Resource Recovery Center are:
Household Hazardous Waste (No Fee)
Household Electronics (No Fee)
Garbage (Fee Applies)
Furniture (Fee Applies)
Tires (Fee Applies)
Appliances (Fee Applies)
Small Loads of Demo Material (Fee Applies)
NOTE: Demo materials must be hand unloaded into a roll off. Demo is not accepted on the tipping floor.
