Recycle Your Holidays

Trash Talk

Recycling holiday lights benefits the environment and helps employ community members with developmental disabilities. Clay County partners with Heartland Industries to recycle holiday lights year-round. The lights are collected at the Clay County’s Electronic Recycling Facility located directly behind the Department of Motor Vehicle in Moorhead every Tuesday from 4-6pm. The address for the Electronics Recycling Facility is 1300 15th Ave N, Moorhead. During the holiday season from November 15th to January 25th additional drop sites are available throughout Clay County.
