It’s the holiday season – and, for KFGO Radio, it means the KFGO Cookbook is out! This cranberry tea recipe was a feature in the 2020 KFGO Listener Cookbook and was submitted by Kathy Bresee of Moorhead, MN.

Cranberry Tea
Ingredients:
1 12 oz. bag Cranberries, rinsed
3 quarts Water
2 sticks Cinnamon (about 6 inches) if desired
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
1 Cup Orange Juice
1/3 cup Lemon Juice

Directions
Bring the cranberries, water and cinnamon to a boil, turn down to a medium heat and cook until the cranberries are done and have lost all or most of their color.
Add: the sugar, orange juice and lemon juice. Strain and serve hot or cold.
Kathy says, “this is a wonderful winter drink – perfect for the first snowstorm of the year! It is always a winter must with family and friends.”
