ANNUAL DOWNTOWN FARGO STREET FAIR IS BACK FOR 45TH YEAR

FARGO – The Downtown Community Partnership (DCP) announces the return of the Downtown Fargo Street Fair for its 45th year. The event will take place July 15-17, 2021 in the heart of downtown Fargo. Over 150,000 visitors are expected across the three days of this year’s Street Fair. The event is the largest, free outdoor event in North Dakota and spans eight blocks from Main Avenue north to 7th Avenue along Broadway.

Among the 200 artists and crafters, 30 food vendors, and eight alcohol vendors, visitors can find a petting zoo, face painting, and pop-up prairie. It also features live stage entertainment in the Marvin Plaza located in Broadway Square that includes a free concert Thursday night featuring the Gear Daddies and the JT Kennelly Band. Other amenities include Sparklight’s Puppy Pit Stop, Sanford Women’s Feeding/Changing Area, Sanford Children’s & Safe Kids FM tent, and nature activities from Audubon Society.

After the pandemic forced the 2020 Street Fair to be canceled, the DCP team and the Downtown business community are thrilled to invite the region to reconnect and rediscover Downtown Fargo.

“The Street Fair is a culmination of a year’s worth of hard work by our team in order to showcase the Downtown neighborhood and create a fun event for our community to enjoy,” says Lora Larson the Development Coordinator at the DCP. “Outside of being a huge economic driver for the Downtown businesses and the city as a whole, this event is our non-profit’s largest fundraiser and allows us to continue our mission of promoting and advocating for the businesses that call Downtown home.”
