Holiday Boutique at Gallery 4, 10:00 am Thursday, Friday, and Saturday @ 115 Roberts St. N. in Fargo. Local art from more than 35 artists will be on display for Christmas gift giving. From stocking stuffers to large pieces of art, jewelry, greeting cards, prints, pottery, metal, mosaics, watercolors, oil, encaustic and more. Free and open to the public.
Horizon West Grade 6 Band Concert, 6:00 pm @ Horizon Performing Arts Center.
F-M Audubon Chapter Meeting, 6:30 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. The monthly meeting in November will include a presentation on birding in Alaska by Matt Mecklenburg (Land Steward with The Nature Conservancy), as well as other agenda items. All are welcome.

Daughters of Norway Meeting, 10:00 am @ Bethesda Lutheran Church at 401 40th Ave. S. in Moorhead. Program presentation “The Significance of the Holocaust in Norway” by Irene Thomas. Visitors welcome. Refreshments served.

P.E.O. Fundraiser Style Show and Silent Auction, 10:00 am @ First Congregational UCC at 406 8th St. S. in Moorhead. P.E.O. (Professional Educational Organization for Women) Chapter CO is sponsoring a fundraiser Style Show and Silent Auction to raise money for scholarships for women of all ages. A continental breakfast will be served. Tickets are available at the door or reservations taken by calling 218-233-1240. $10.

Not Another Teen Book Club, 3:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Join us for snacks and a discussion of “Between Shades of Gray” an historical fiction novel by Ruta Sepetys. The story follows Lina and her journey from Lithuania to being set to a prison camp in Siberia. Sepetys draws on historical events of prison camps under Stalin’s reign, but is ultimately about Lina, her strength, and never losing hope. Free.

Sunday, Nov 10:
Open Skate, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Sports Center. Admission is $2 for kids (age 17 and under), $3 for adults, and $5 for family skate. There is limited skate rental available for $1.

PRISM Concert, 5:00 pm @ Memorial Auditorium at Concordia College. This unique concert is a continuous surround-sound experience, with one ensemble seamlessly following another without pause. Several instrumental groups as well as several student chamber ensembles, will be performing. $3.

Monday, Nov 11:
*** Veteran’s Day ***
American Legion Post 2 Veteran’s Day Stew Feed and Concert, 12:00 pm @ El Zagal Shrine at 1429 3rd St. N. in Fargo. Concert by the Red River Valley Veteran’s Band at 12:15 pm. Stew served until gone. All are welcome. Free-will offering.

FM Area Music Club Parade of American Music Honoring Veterans, 7:00 pm @ First Presbyterian Church at 650 2nd Ave. N. in Fargo. Featured will be a Two Piano-8 hands duet, a Concordia Trombone Ensemble, a male quartet Four Eyes, Four Guys, and organist, Sally Harmon. The public is invited to this free concert.

The Arc Minnesota Dance, 7:15 pm @ Ellen Hopkins Elementary School in Moorhead. Everyone is welcome to dance and socialize. DJ provides the music. No charge. Sponsored by The Arc Minnesota, West Central Region.

Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota will be hosting office hours at the library on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 3-4 pm to provide free legal advice on civil (non-criminal) issues to low income families and individuals.

Moorhead School Board Meeting, 6:30 pm @ Probstfield Center for Education.

Chess Club, 6:30 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Join chess players of every level for a chess skill share. Chess boards and books will be provided. Free.

RRWS Annual Meeting, 7:00 pm @ First Presbyterian Church of Moorhead at 2900 5th St. S. The Red River Watercolor Society invites you to the Annual Meeting. Business will include electing board members and approving the 2020 budget. After the business meeting there will be free painting time. Many people like to work on holiday cards for the card exchange for our December meeting. Refreshments will be served. Free.

Outlander Book Club – Laura MacKenzie Concert, 7:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Laura MacKenzie presents a fascinating program of traditional Scots and Scottish Gaelic music from the Outlander Series. The Outlander novels quote a wonderful variety of Scottish songs, airs and dance tunes, and the sound track of the popular television series incorporates even more. MacKenzie presents music from both the Highlands and the Lowlands on an array of instruments including wooden flutes, whistles, concertina, Scottish smallpipes, border bagpipes and voice. Free.
