MSUM Visiting Artist Exhibit Opening: Terry Conrad & Brian Frink, 4:00 pm @ Rolland Dille Center for the Arts at MSUM. Opening reception for exhibit by visiting artists Terry Conrad and Brian Frink. Exhibit runs from Oct. 8 through Oct. 31.
LEGO Club, 6:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. People of all ages and creative ability are welcome to come make their own LEGO creation with the library’s LEGO Club. Supplies provided. Free.
Moorhead Stuttering Chapter Meeting, 6:00 pm @ Hansen Hall at MSUM. The discussion topic for the meeting will be “Is Stuttering a Disability?” Adults who stutter, parents of children who stutter and those interested in stuttering are encouraged to attend.
Moorhead School Board Community Forum, 7:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. The League of Women Voters will be hosting a community forum to discuss the Moorhead School District’s upcoming bond referendum.
MSUM Wind Ensemble Concert, 7:30 pm @ Hansen Theatre at MSUM. $5-$15.
Performance of “Crimes of the Heart, 8:00 pm Thursday and Friday, Saturday at 2:00 pm @ Francis Frazier Comstock Theatre at Concordia College. This Pulitzer Prize-winning play is the story of how its young characters escape the past to seize the future. $5-$10.
Homecoming at Concordia “Cobber Pride. Stayin’ Alive, Thursday through Saturday. Join in the festivities with current students, faculty, staff and friends, celebrating the Cobber tradition. “Breaking Through the Clouds” Film Screening, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. It is the inspiring true story of 20 female pilots, including Amelia Earhart, who defied convention by taking to the skies and racing across America in 1929. This award-winning documentary is expertly researched, beautifully shot and filled with carefully restored footage of the derby, some of which has not been seen in over 80 years. Free.

Moorhead Fire Open House, 1:00 pm @ Station 1 at 1120 1st Ave. N. The community is invited to join firefighters for food, demonstrations, and fire safety tips.
Open Skate, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Sports Center. Admission is $2 for kids (age 17 and under), $3 for adults, and $5 for family skate. There is limited skate rental available for $1.
