Saturday, Sept 7:
Wings & Wheels Fly-In & Car Show, 8:00 am @ Moorhead Airport at 3309 70th St. S. in Glyndon. Enjoy a pancake breakfast, with a variety of aircraft on display, youth airplane rides, the Sanford helicopter, a sky dive jump at noon, and the classic car show. Free.
2nd Annual Apple Harvest Festival, 12:00 pm @ Wild Terra Cider at 6 12th St. N. Our 2nd year of celebrating the apple and harvest season. This family and dog friendly event will be filled with farm games, tasty food, live music, cider school, apple pie competition and more. Ethan will be on site talking about all things apple and will be doing live demonstrations on cider making. Also, a DIY Carmel Apple Bar with 20 plus toppings. Free.

A Suffrage Centennial & Pie Social, 1:00 pm @ Comstock House at 506 8th St. S. Join the Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County and the League of Women Voters of the Red River Valley to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Minnesota’s ratification of the 19th Amendment, popularly recognized as Women’s Suffrage. We’re celebrating the occasion at the Comstock House with coffee, tea, champagne, lawn games, tours, and 150 slices of pie from Kringen Lodge 25 Sons of Norway.
Fargo Vegfest 2019, 4:00 pm @ Wild Terra Cider at 6 12th St. N. Fargo Vegfest is BACK. Get ready for an evening of delicious vegan food from local food trucks, cider from Wild Terra Cider, live music, and a very special speaker. Free and family/pet friendly.

9/11 Commemoration, 9:00 am @ Memorial Park at 700 1st Ave. N. in Moorhead. There will be a 9/11 remembrance program with local Fire and Police departments and military branches in Memorial Park in the parking lot of the old Usher’s Building. Hosted by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 941.
Author Visit Featuring Peter Fane, 6:30 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Young Adult and Fantasy author Peter Fane will visit the Moorhead Public Library to talk with teens about writing novels, setting goals, and taming dragons. If you ever wanted to know what it takes to get your book out there, this is a great opportunity to learn from an expert.
