LEGO Club, 6:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. People of all ages and creative ability are welcome to come make their own LEGO creation with the library’s LEGO Club. Supplies provided. Free.

Taste of the Season Benefit, 6:30 pm @ Fargo North High School. This year’s beneficiary is Damion Lozano, a Fargo North student in need of a heart transplant. The benefit’s goal is to raise money in order to lessen the Lozano family’s financial burden while they pay for his numerous medical bills. $6-$8.

The Master Chorale of Fargo Moorhead’s Christmas Concert, Thursday at 7:00 pm, Friday/Saturday at 6:30 pm, and Sunday at 2:00 pm @ Knutson Center Centrum @ Concordia College. The Master Chorale of Fargo Moorhead are performing a series of four Christmas Concerts. The Master Chorale will be accompanied by a special string quintet from the Fargo/Moorhead Symphony Orchestra. $20-$45.

Red River Valley Veterans Concert Band in Concert, 7:00 pm @ Plains Art Museum in Fargo. For over 50 years the RRVVCB’s mission has promoted patriotism through music. We’re performing in concert at the beautiful Plains Art Museum and invite everyone to join us as we celebrate our nation’s patriotism. All concerts are always free, open to the public, and feature a special tribute honoring our military service men & women. Help us celebrate America.

Saturday, Dec 14:
Daughters of Norway Meeting, 9:30 am @ Bethesda Lutheran Church at 401 40th Ave. S. in Moorhead. Christmas party, crafts, and a potluck. Visitors welcome.

Cookie and Candy Walk, 10:00 am @ St. Joseph’s Gathering Place (door #7) at 1005 2nd Ave. S. in Moorhead. Catholic Daughters of the Americas invites you to fill a box with a great variety of homemade cookies, candy, and more at our annual Cookie and Candy Walk fundraiser. $15 – $30.

Not Another Teen Book Club, 3:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. What better remedy for cold weather than comedy? Join us for a discussion of “Neanderthal Opens the Door to the Universe” by Preston Norton. Cliff Hubbard is, unfortunately, nicknamed Neanderthal due to his massive size (6’6” and 250 pounds). Cliff and the star quarterback, Aaron, are natural enemies, so what makes Aaron ask Cliff for help? A near-death experience sends Aaron on a mission from God to improve their school and the only one that can help is Neanderthal. Free.

Percussion Ensemble Concert, 3:00 pm @ Memorial Auditorium at Concordia College. Concordia’s music department will present the Percussion Ensemble’s Holiday Concert. Free.

MSUM School of Media Arts & Design: Juried Film & Animation Exhibition, 7:00 pm @ Weld Hall at MSUM. The MSUM School of Media Arts & Design presents a juried exhibition of student film and animation in Glasrud Auditorium in Weld Hall on the MSUM campus. The event is free and open to the public. Free.

Sunday, Dec 15:
Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction – Moorhead Girls Hockey, 11:30 am @ Moorhead American Legion. Please join us for the Moorhead Girls Hockey 7th annual Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction Fundraiser. The dinner is a free will offering and there are many great silent auction items.

Open Skate, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Sports Center. Admission is $2 for kids (age 17 and under), $3 for adults, and $5 for family skate. There is limited skate rental available for $1.
