Join us as we celebrate summer in the beautiful pocket parks of downtown Grand Forks! Food and beverages available by Dogmahal Doghaus. Local artists performing on stage from 6:00 – 9:00pm in a family friendly and relaxing format. Grab a blanket or bring chairs and enjoy entertaining music in Pillsbury Park.

Bison Block Party:

Kick off 2014 as the FCS National Champion Bison begin their quest for their fourth national title! Come celebrate the start to the best season around… Bison Football Season! Free hotdog, chips, and Pepsi will be served to Bison Fans. Bring your friends, bring your neighbors, bring your kids and bring your dancin’ shoes to the Bison Block Party!

Poco Fuego steel drum ensemble will perform, food vendor is Underwood Lions, movie:West Side Story. In case of inclement weather, concert performed at Kennedy Secondary School.

Guest Recital: Jocelyn Hagen, Composer:

Location: NDSU Beckwith Recital Hall

Visiting Artist/Lecturer and composer Jocelyn Hagen will present a recital of her works at the NDSU Beckwith Recital Hall. Featuring guests Carrie Henneman Shaw, soprano, and the Test Pilot String Quartet, they will perform pieces from Test Pilot: A Dance Opera and selections from Hagen’s recently released album MASHUP.
